4th of July Weekend

We went up to my sisters for the weekend and we had so much fun. WE drove up thursday night, went to Lagoon on Friday, enjoyed all the 4th of July festivities in Deweyville. We had alot of fun seeing old friends and family. We had a great weekend and can't wait to get back together soon.

Projects

I made this beach bag the other day, it is so big it fits all my things when I go out to the pool or the lake for the day. It is a very easy pattern if you want to make one just let me know I can email it to you. I also made a picture quilt for my Grandma Winnie and I will get a picture of it today and post soon. I love summer I get to do all the things I love, sew, sew, sew, and sew.

Lion King and The Cheesecake Anniversary

We went to Lion King Saturday in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. It was amazing, I couldn't believe the costumes and creativity of the props/stage. We had a great time and then Ezra and I went to The Cheesecake Factory to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary after the show. It was delicious as always.

Grandpa Bob's funeral

Ezra's Grandpa passed away June 4th after fighting Parkinson's Disease for 25 years. His passing was such a blessing but he will be greatly missed.

Hawaii Trip

Ezra and I just got back from another fun trip to Hawaii. We stayed in Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. We had a blast, we visited alot of new places we had not been to on our last trip to the Big Island and revisited some of our favorites. We did an awesome hike down into the Waipoi Valley, it was absolutely beautiful. It was a mile hike down into the valley 1,000 feet, once we reached the valley we hiked about a half of a mile into the valley to see a 1,400 foot waterfall. We had so much fun seeing all the sights of the valley but hiking out was another story. It was basically straight up for a mile to get back to the car. We were so exhausted but it was definitely worth the trip. We saw dolphins which we had never seen in any of our trips to the islands which was really cool. We stayed in Waikoloa Village which had alot of fun things to do and see within walking distance. Some great shops, beaches and resorts. We had such a great time.

Sunday we met at this awesome park by my house and had a bbq, the kids had so much fun playing for hours and the adults, well we just sat and did nothing it was great. As you can see I am always the one taking the pictures never in them, I need to get on Ezra about that.

I am terrible at this blogging thing, So I will try to be better. Ezra and I just finished spring semester and are enjoying our time off till school starts in the fall. I have to think back to all that has happened since I last blogged.... I got accepted into the Dental Hygiene Program at Dixie and I start in August. Ezra graduated last week, but he was lame and didnt walk. My family came down about 3 weeks ago before Nic and Kyle left for Kansas. We had alot of fun, went on the temple quarry trail here in St. George, enjoyed picnics,celebrated birthdays,mothers day a bit early and just had fun. Ezra and I have been doing P90X and it's kicking our trash big time. Gotta get all in shape for summer vacations! I have been doing alot more sewing now that I have time for projects.(notice the quilt I posted, oh so adorable)

What a pleasant surprise!!!!

Yesterday was such a long day I had to sit at the computer for 7 hours and write 2 papers on borderline personality disorder and stem cell research. Anyone that knows me, knows I hate to sit still, it was a bad day to say the least. I got an email last night just as I was wearing thin and this is what I opened up, My most adorable niece had her 6 month pictures taken and my sister sent them to me. Thanks Nat it made my day!

Weekend in Vegas

We had a quick fun visit to Las Vegas last weekend, We drove down Saturday after Ez got home from his scout campout. Nathan had his Eagle Scout Court of honor on Saturday night, we are soproud of him. He is always so good to help anyone and is such a good example to Maddi. On Sunday the race began, Off to church at 8:30 to be there for my dad to be made the new bishop of the newly established Cactus Ward in the Las Vegas Area. He will be such a wonderful bishop. We had to leave a few minutes early and drive across to North Las Vegas for my Nephews blessing. We cut it close but we made it on time. Cade Irvin is the 11th grandchild on Ezra's side of the family.( we have a lot of catching up to do on the Norr side...) We then had about an hour to spare so we went back over to my mom and dad's and visited for a few before we had to leave to go pick of some mantles at Ezra's manufacturer in Henderson. We got there ten minutes early and ended up waiting for over 2hours for the guy to show up needless to say we werent happy. I sat in the Truck and did my homework, luckily I brought it. The guy finally showed up and we had to make the 2 hour drive home. We were exhausted by the time we got home to say the least.

master Bedroom/Bathroom remodel!

Ez and I have been wanting to redo our bedroom and build a new closet the old one we had just wasnt cutting it. We had to put rubbermaids under our bed,fill 3 other closets, and fill a dresser to fit all of our stuff, So we finally build a closet and everything fits pics soon to come. I am off to paint, I will post pictures as soon as its finished.
